Groundslow pool
This pool was legendary in the 1980’s and 90’s for it’s superb carp and tench fishing.
The allure of Groundslow has faded slightly over the years but those fish are still there, carp have been caught in excess of twenty pounds on a regular basis in the last couple of years and the tench fishing is out of this world with infinite numbers of quality fish to be caught on most methods, a bed of hemp and pellets with virtually any hookbait will produce good catches.
Silverfish, bream, hybrids, perch and the odd pike are also present.
