Heron and Lawn pools Consall

The latest addition to our impressive portfolio of venues, newly acquired for the 2020 season.

Heron is the smaller of the two pools but by no means the little sister as some superb specimens of many species are known to reside here. Catfish of impressive sizes have been caught in the past along with carp and bream, fantastic roach in excess of two pounds reported.

Lawn pool is the much larger water and again home to large carp to twenty pounds plus. Pike are present although it is not believed in large numbers, a superb fish of twenty seven pounds has been landed here. Large bream are known to be present as are smaller skimmers, roach, rudd and perch. Further species and stock density will become apparent as we familiarise ourselves with these fantastic pools.

The pools are located on the RSPB nature reserve at Consall and will be subject to additional rules and regulations. An additional membership card containing the full rules for the pools is available to purchase online, the card must be carried and car sticker displayed when attending the waters, bailiffs and RSPB staff will remove any angler not in possession of the correct documents. Car parking is adjacent to the lower pool.
