Miners Pool
The sister pool of the overflow, much smaller but also much deeper.
This pool was once famous for tench and roach fishing and although both species are still present it appears in recent years that bream have become the dominant species, some fantastic nets have been taken in the last few years with a feeder cast tight to the island accounting for many fish from skimmers to fish of six or seven pounds.
The specimen angler should not discount this pool, although not present in huge numbers some very impressive carp and pike have been landed recently.
