Bramshall Farm Pools
Two very deep irrigation pools at Bramshall Farm garden centre which are home to fabulous fish of all species.
Shallow maggot and caster fishing in summer can be hectic with roach and rudd falling to a slow sinking bait in large numbers. Tench, Bream, crucians and some monster chub are also present as are a large head of carp in the six to eight pounds bracket, there are bigger carp to be had but they are few and far between and a stalking approach will be needed to target these better specimens.
Perch to monstrous proportions are known to lurk under the landing stages here and although the pike fishing history is sketchy a fish in excess of twenty pounds is rumoured to reside in the upper pool.
Access to the pools is by way of a recessed gate on the right of Bramshall Road just before the garden centre heading from Uttoxeter. The what3words location is: loudness.palace.ourselves
